Ketogenic Diet Day 20

This was my first attempt to eat out since I started eating a ketogenic diet. As you can see from the macros, it didn’t go well. The restaurant didn’t have the salad I wanted, so I ordered turkey chili which sounded really good. It was. However it has been so long since I’ve eaten kidney beans, I didn’t remember how high in carbs they were.

I have a birthday party next week where lunch will be supplied. I’m going to have to work on a strategy.

Ketogenic Diet Day 19

I am starting to feel a bit more full. I hope this is a continuing trend. I can also report a 1.1 pound loss for the past week and a 5 pound loss since I started following a ketogenic diet 19 days ago.

Ketogenic Diet Day 15

I have decided to allow myself more protein and calories if I’m still hungry. This has allowed me to relax and get rid of the stress of trying to be perfect.

My new favorite breakfast is 1 egg cooked with 1 oz cream cheese and 1/2 an avocado. So good and very filling.

Ketogenic Diet Week 2 Wrap Up

I’m still working on feeling too hungry during the day. My macros are getting better but the calories are still too high. I think I might have gone back to the leptin reset diet if I had not lost 3 pounds this week. This is still very much a work in progress.
