Ketogenic Diet Day 4


Here’s what I ate on day 4 of my ketogenic diet:

1 serving fat bread with banana 202.3
2 large Egg, whole, raw, fresh 143
2 tsp Oil, coconut 77.6
4 tbsp Nuts, coconut milk, canned (liquid expressed from grated meat and water) 118.2
4 slice cooked Pork, cured, bacon, cooked, microwaved 101
6 oz Cheese, cream 581.7
70 fl oz Water, tap, drinking 0
3 large Egg, yolk, raw, fresh 164.2
1 tsp Oil, avocado 39.8
2 cup shredded Lettuce, red leaf, raw 9
1 tbsp Oil, avocado 123.8
1 tsp Vinegar, red wine 1
2 1 cup chicken stock 172
0.5 cup diced Mushrooms, portabella, raw 9.5
0.5 cup, pieces or slices Mushrooms, white, raw 7.7
2 serving Paleo Fudge with walnuts and pecans 2 268.1

I went over on calories and carbs. I couldn’t resist Valentine’s Day chocolate. You can get the recipe for Primal Fudge on Practical Paleo here. I use half the amount of honey recommended and find it good and sweet. I might work at adding less to get the carb count down.

I also tried making an egg salad with extra yolks and avocado. I decided I really like the egg whites in egg salad so I would not try this again. This was a tip to keep protein down. This can also be tried when making fried or scrambled eggs.
